Follow up to yesterday….
This article ran in the Washington Post today. My cliff note version is the artist said she did not actually do what she said she did to the Yale paper. The art project is made up. Hmmmm?
So tell me, do you believe she really did it? Or do you believe she faked it? Comment please.
For the record, I think the Yale Officials are outraged and pretty much forced her to say she didn’t really do it. I think the statement is forced. Of course I understand it, I’m pretty sure Yale doesn’t want to be known as the university that encouraged the abortion art experiment.

I popped over from Pioneer Woman. I can’t tell where you are but did you feel the earthquake this morning?
If you want more horsey pictures hop over to my blog. I have horse and boxer pups there along with pretty countryside.
Nice to meet you.

Hey Trail, nice to meet you too. I’ll check it out.
I’m around chicago, I did not feel that earthquake, although I did wake around 4am and then toss and turn until 6am. I have several neighbors that did feel it, their beds shook, pictures on walls, etc. I read it could be felt all the way up to Milwaukee. I guess my house is just a bit sturdy, so I didn’t feel it.

In theory, art is supposed to make you think in different ways. So I’m inclined to think she didn’t do it. It shocked people to think she might have done it and it brought abortion to the top of the discussion tables again.
It forces you to face the issue head on and think about where you really stand.

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve tried it with the whole foods brand cake GF cake mix and wasn’t impressed. It just didn’t have the crispy top that gluten mix used to, so I got frustrated and haven’t tried it again. I’m going to try it tonight with one of your suggestions. Thanks!

just because you call it art does not mean you get to lie to draw attention to yuourself

ezekiel, it does force you to face the issue. But I’m not sure if forces you to think about where you really stand. The art project is that she only got pregnant to abort, no other reason. Maybe I’m living under a rock but I doubt there are too many abortions that happen out there under these circumstances, you know?
I’m with you Marty, this art project may have been more about publicity for herself than any thing else.
