Today’s question is: Is talking on the cell phone while running liken to running with someone and talking while running?
Background: Two days ago I dropped my middle daughter at her tutor and brought the other two buckets of joy to the park. As we were getting out of the car I saw a woman halfway through the park running toward us chatting away on her cell phone (rather loudly but I won’t go there). As she ran toward us the conversation continued, she even paused to say hello to us, and then ran off still talking on the phone.
So, I guess the talking on the cell phone while running question is getting a little old, maybe I just need to understand. Is it a replacement for running with a real person? Or could it simply be some people can not pass up a phone call, any phone call.
I guess the next big question I’ll have is “why would anyone answer the phone while using the public bathroom”. I’m sure those people are out there, I just can’t even imagine being one of them!

When you hear someone talking in the stall next to you, you just hope they're on the phone.

Kind of like when a person is walking around a 2 mile track supposedly "exercising" & carrying their Starbucks!

SC you are hilarious, I will absolutely hope no one starts talking to me from stall to stall unless they are asking for toilet paper! LOL
Chrisy, yeah the fast walking and starbucks is sort of not working for me so much.
Kel- I don't like to listen to anything if I'm running outside either. I would have my cell for emergencies and I'd stop running if an emergency called but otherwise I"d enjoy the sounds of my feet pounding and the lovely sounds of nature!
