moving?

Today’s question is:  Why, if a store closes and moves, don’t they call their customers that have paid orders waiting for pick up to let them know?

Background:  About two weeks ago I went into a local store to order some really cute monogrammed stuff for some friends of mine that recently had babies.  Cute things like bibs and diaper covers, monogrammed with the baby’s name on them.  The stuff was going to be ready in 3 days but because of my crazy life and my limited memory, it’s taken me two weeks to go pick it up.

So, I left the kids home after school and drove over to pick up my stuff.  When I got there the store was completely empty.  So empty that the signage on the building was even removed.  I walked up to the window, and nothing, I mean nothing was inside nor was there a note anywhere giving me a clue to what happened.

I knew they had another store about 15 minutes from here, so once I got home I looked it up on the computer and called to find out what happened and why they never called me.  The gal was all apologetic and said that they must not have my phone number, which I know isn’t true, they just didn’t call.

Now I have the pleasure of squeezing in a trip to a store that is much farther away, and in a mall, when I barely had time to make it to the store in town to pick up the stuff.  I’m really bummed.

Another reason why shopping online can be a lot less hassle.

psycho?

Today’s question is:  Why are people psycho?

Background:  Seriously?  I mean I could add a bunch of stuff here so I’m just going to list some things and please add on…..

I may have to do this monthly.

1. why do some people think it’s ok to give your child wheat when she/he doesn’t eat it?

2.  why would anyone tell your child that *this type of pancake* doesn’t have much wheat in it so it should be fine to order at a restaurant.

3. why would a coach plan a middle school baseball practice an hour away when their field is under water due to the state of emergency they are in for flash flooding? (is it really *that* important?)

4. why do people park like idiots?

5. why do people use your ideas without giving credit?

6. why do people exclude others?

7. why are people fake?

8. why are people trying to act like they are something other than they are?

9. why do people get upset when they find out you really are who you say you are?

10.  why would a priest treat a child unkindly? (I have a good one on this subject)
