foot reflexology?
Today’s question is: Why don’t more people know about the awesome benefits of foot reflexology?
Background: Years ago, sister told me she was beginning a program in New York City, where she was living, to learn how to become a foot reflexologist. She entered a program at the New York Open Center to learn everything she could about this unbelievable ancient science (although I believe it is also an art, no two reflexologists are the same). She finished her program in 2001, just before we found out Paul had metastatic testicular cancer (and I was pregnant with our third child in three years). I remember she came to visit for Thanksgiving and gave Paul the most awesome treatment to see if he could get some relief from his chemo days. She gave me a treatment too, but being hugely pregnant, and having been induced without success that week, I can only barely remember my first time.
Lucky for me, Sarah, has given me many treatments since then. In her 8 years of practice she’s moved from her business in New York City to Chicago, rebuilding along the way (and traveling back to NYC to treat her clients regularly). She has quite a knack for creating a stress relieving, balance producing experience every time she spends an hour with me (or anyone I gather). I relish my time with her. It’s the sort of thing I’ve shared with many of my friends as gifts so they too can understand what this science is all about. I love it so much I want everyone to experience reflexology through my sisters hands.
If you have the chance you should most definitely try a one hour session sometime soon. You will not be disappointed. Reflexology is simply a must do treatment. Check Sarah out at her website:
Reflexology is the bomb!
